The Dalton Gear OSD-493 is an overload safety device, a torque limiter that disengages the drive when torque goes past its set limit. It protects gearboxes, chains and conveyors from damage during jams. Torque limiters are replaced when they slip below their rating, fail to release or wear out after repeated trips.

Before you order: check the 1-7/16 inch bore, the single spring and the 210 lb-ft maximum torque. Compare the keyway and how the sprocket or pulley mounts with your setup.
