Privacy policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

MXL Parts LLC ("we", "us") runs mxlparts.us. This policy explains what we collect when you shop with us, why, and who else sees it. We have no customer accounts and no passwords: you check out as a guest.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number and shipping address. We never see or store your card number. Payment is handled by Stripe; we keep only the card brand and the last four digits, together with the order.

When you browse: what you type in the search box, the parts in your cart, and anonymous daily page counts. Those counts contain no IP address and nothing personal.

Why we collect it

To ship your order, to email you when it is confirmed, shipped, in transit, out for delivery and delivered, to prevent fraud, to answer your questions, and to see which parts people look for.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run the store, and only what each one needs: Stripe for payment, Cloudflare for hosting and the database, Resend for order emails, Shippo and the carrier that moves your package (USPS or UPS) for the shipping label and tracking, and Google Gemini to understand your search (we send only what you typed).

We also list our parts on eBay, but we do not share your order with eBay. We do not sell your information. We do not use it for targeted advertising, and we run no advertising pixels on this site.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as business records, because the law requires it. What you type in the search box is deleted after 90 days. Carts that are never bought are deleted after 30 days. Anonymous page counts are deleted after 13 months.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to shopmxlparts@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days. We may have to keep the order records the law requires us to keep.

If you live in California, Virginia, Colorado or another state with a privacy law, you have these rights by statute, and we do not charge you or treat you differently for using them.

Children

This store is not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If the change is important, we say so on the store.

Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect our checkout from automated abuse and card fraud, we use Cloudflare Turnstile.
