The Vickers RV3-10-S-0-36 is a screw-in pressure relief cartridge valve, sold under the Danfoss and Eaton Vickers names. Fitted into a manifold cavity, it opens at its set pressure and sends excess oil back to tank, protecting pumps, hoses and cylinders from pressure spikes. Relief cartridges are usually replaced when a circuit will not hold pressure, the setting drifts, or the valve chatters or leaks internally.
