The Dexter K08-436-C4 (81049) is a hub kit for a 3.5K idler axle, with a 5x4.5 in. bolt pattern and the Gal-Dex galvanized finish used on boat trailers. Idler hubs carry the wheel on axles without brakes, and they are replaced when the bearing races are pitted, the hub is rusted from launching, or a bearing has failed.

Before you order: match the 5x4.5 bolt pattern and the 3.5K axle rating, and confirm your spindle size. Grease the bearings and set the end play during installation.
