The Kawasaki 12005-1064 is an exhaust valve for the cylinder head. It opens to let burned gases leave the combustion chamber, then seals against its seat to hold compression. Exhaust valves are replaced during a head rebuild, or when a bent, burned or worn valve causes low compression, hard starting or a ticking from the top end.
