This welded hydraulic cylinder, model C6031498 and part number 105082, has a retracted length of 18 in. In a welded design the base is welded to the barrel, which keeps the cylinder compact and is common on loaders, attachments and other construction equipment. Cylinders are replaced when the rod is bent or pitted, the seals leak, or the cylinder drifts under load.
