The Mercury Marine 8M0139070 is a clean air intake duct for a V8 marine engine. It routes filtered air toward the throttle body and keeps the intake path sealed, so a cracked, warped or brittle duct is the usual reason to replace it, since a leak lets unmetered air or debris into the engine.

Before you order: match part number 8M0139070 with the tag or casting on your current duct and confirm your engine. Only the duct is included; clamps, hoses, gaskets and fasteners are not, and it has light cosmetic scuffs from storage.
