The Danly IEM 6-14-28 is a plain bronze bushing, measured at about 1.750 in. inside diameter and 4.325 in. overall length. In a die set, a bushing like this rides on the guide post as the die opens and closes, keeping the upper and lower halves aligned. Bushings are replaced when worn oval or scored, or when the die shows misalignment and uneven wear.
