The Resideo VR8305M4009 is a Honeywell dual automatic gas valve for natural gas, used on direct ignition furnaces and heating equipment. It opens to feed gas to the burner when the control calls for heat, and its built-in regulator is set to 3.5 inches WC. Gas valves are replaced when the burner will not light, or lights and drops out, even with control voltage present.

Before you order: confirm the model VR8305M4009, natural gas fuel, 24 VAC at 60 Hz, and the 3/4-inch by 3/4-inch inlet and outlet. Installation should be done by a qualified technician.
