The Ryobi 997026001 is the 48V deck motor, the motor that spins a cutting blade, on the RY48ZTR100 and RY48ZTR75 electric zero-turn mowers. Each mower uses 2 of them. A deck motor that hums without spinning, runs hot, or makes a grinding noise is the usual reason for replacement.
