The SEW-EURODRIVE 08687684 is a BMG2HF electromagnetic motor brake with 20 Nm of braking torque. It holds the motor shaft when power is off and releases when the coil is energized, so the driven load cannot drift. Brakes are replaced when the lining wears, the air gap can no longer be set, or the coil fails.

Before you order: the label shows 440 VAC. Match the voltage, model BMG2HF and motor size with your gearmotor. The unit has not been tested.
