This aluminum water pump fits small-block Chevrolet V8s with the short-style pump and is listed as high volume. The title names the 283, 305 and 350. The water pump circulates coolant through the engine and radiator, and it is replaced when the weep hole drips, the shaft has play or the engine runs hot.

Before you order: confirm your engine uses a short pump and not a long one, since the two are not interchangeable without changing brackets and pulleys. The gasket is not included.
