About this part

The Standard PC997 is a crankshaft position sensor. It reads the position and speed of the crankshaft so the engine computer can time spark and fuel. When it fails, an engine may crank but not start, stall when warm, or run with a tachometer that drops to zero.

Before you order: compare PC997 with your old sensor and look up your vehicle in Standard's catalog. It is a snap-on style plastic sensor with a black male connector and comes with mounting hardware. It has a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
