The Sun Hydraulics RDFALAV is a direct-acting relief cartridge valve, also written RDFA-LAV. It threads into a manifold cavity and opens to send flow back to tank when system pressure reaches its setting, protecting pumps, hoses and actuators. Relief cartridges get replaced when they chatter, leak internally or no longer hold their setting.

Before you order: match the full model code RDFA-LAV with your current cartridge. In cartridge valves the letters after the base model define options such as adjustment style, pressure range and seals, so compare every character.
