The Trombetta 684-1221-012-05 is a 12V DC PowerSeal contactor, also marked RE 324871. A small current through its coil closes heavy contacts, rated at 150A in the title, so a switch or controller can turn on a high-current load such as a starter, pump motor or winch. Contactors are replaced when the contacts burn and the load clicks without running, or when the coil fails open.

Before you order: confirm the 12V coil voltage, the terminal layout and the duty your circuit needs. No nuts, washers or mounting hardware are included.
