This VOGT gate valve has a 1/2-inch female NPT threaded connection, a Class 800 pressure rating and an A105N forged steel body with API trim #8. It is a manual on/off valve: the rising stem with outside screw and yoke shows at a glance whether it is open or shut. Gate valves are swapped out when the stem packing leaks or the gate no longer seals.

Before you order: confirm the size, thread type and pressure class match your line. The body is marked API 602, API 624 and ASME B16.34, and it has a bolted bonnet and handwheel.
