The CAT 248-2308 is a left hand (LH) track link for Caterpillar SALT (sealed and lubricated) track with PPR2 positive pin retention. The pitch is 7.985" / 202.81 mm, nominally 8". It is made of boron steel. Single links are replaced when one is cracked or damaged, or to repair a chain section.
