The SMC MHSL3-40D is a 3-finger, long-stroke pneumatic air gripper. Double acting, it uses air pressure to open and close its fingers in a parallel motion, so it can center and hold round parts in automation and robot cells. Grippers are replaced when seals leak, the fingers develop play or grip force drops.

Before you order: match the full model code MHSL3-40D; the number after the dash sets the size. Compare the mounting pattern, finger attachment points and air ports with your current gripper. It is made in Japan.
