About this part

It has a broken plastic that apparently can be easily replaced and that's why the price is cheaper

This valve cover, part number 231024A0015, is listed for the 2014-2015 Chevrolet Malibu with the 2.5L 4-cylinder. It closes the top of the cylinder head over the camshafts and keeps oil in. Plastic covers like this are typically replaced when they crack, warp and seep oil, or when a built-in vent or PCV section fails.

Before you order: compare 231024A0015 with your current cover and confirm your car is a 2014-2015 Malibu with the 2.5L engine. The seller notes a broken plastic piece that they describe as easy to replace; look at it in the photos before you buy.

New, open box. Check the listing photos for details. Ships from Kansas City, MO with tracking.
