The GM 84089951 is a steering gear pitman arm assembly for 2015-2023 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado trucks. The pitman arm connects the steering gear output shaft to the steering linkage. It gets replaced when its ball joint wears, causing loose steering or wander, or after the arm is bent by an impact.
