About this part

The Haldex KN28053 is an air brake relay valve, listed as a replacement for Meritor 9732980570. A relay valve sits close to the brake chambers and, on a signal from the brake pedal circuit, sends air from a nearby reservoir straight to the chambers, so the brakes apply and release faster on long air systems. Relay valves are replaced when they leak air at the exhaust, apply slowly or stick.

Before you order: compare KN28053 and 9732980570 with your current valve, including port sizes. The seller's description text belongs to another item, so go by the title and photos.
