The Haldex SC30 is a standard-stroke service brake chamber for air brakes on trucks and trailers. When the driver brakes, air pressure pushes a diaphragm and pushrod, which turns the slack adjuster and applies the brake. A chamber is replaced when the diaphragm leaks, the pushrod stroke goes beyond its limit, or the housing is damaged.

Before you order: match the chamber size and the stroke type, standard rather than long stroke, with the one you are replacing, and check the pushrod length and stud spacing. Many fleets replace chambers in pairs on the same axle.
